Bagdaan Batyrkin
A soundtrack and film‑music composer with a strong jazz‑theory background, he completed his jazz guitar and drums studies in Eastern Europe, focusing on improvisation, ensemble performance, and the harmonic language of jazz. Now based in Melbourne and pursuing a Bachelor of Music, he works across bespoke film scoring, sound design, and audio editing, while developing a growing interest in film direction.
In 2024, he released his debut album The Ballad of the Vietnamese Tiger, a project that blends cinematic, soundtrack‑inspired textures with the depth and colour of jazz harmony — reflecting his ongoing pursuit of uniting music and storytelling into a cohesive artistic voice.
